Genesis Purple Camel
This is a wrap to enjoy the natural features of the baby camel wool! It has excellent thermostatic properties which isulate camels in the high mountain cold and protect them in the desert heat. These caracteristics are transferred to the fabrics made of camel hair. The camel hair is collected by hand from late spring till early summer during the molting season when camels naturally shed their hair. The wrap is already quite soft right from the bag because I have used the twill weaving to make breaking in easier. It's suitable for all experience levels and most ages. Once washed and broken in, it is even suitable for the newborns, but the baby camel yarn will provide a good grip if you carry bigger babies and toddlers.

Genesis Gyfu

The first wash and a medium breaking in period will tame it and you will have a cushy, floppy but very strong and supportive wrap. It is definitely suitable for bigger babies and toddlers, not very suitable for the newborns. I would recommend it to wrappers experienced in handling heavier wraps..

Genesis Murasaki
Genesis Murasaki is woven on the purple combed Egyptian cotton warp with natural hemp and mulberry silk yarn for the weft. It will take a little effort to break in the hemp yarn. However, afterwards you will be rewarded with a solid, strong, supportive, but floppy and easy going wrap. This wrap is great for heavier babies and toddlers. Once broken in, it is suitable for the newborns as well. I would recommend this wrap to wrappers experienced in handling wraps with hemp or linen blends. The hemp yarn in this wrap is naturally slubby. The wrap has mostly small nubs and slubs, and occasionally biger ones. Some of them will come off naturally during the use, other ones will stay.

This wrap is a kinesthetic heaven, as if woven from the clouds. Woven in the triweave technique, the wraps has a high GSM, but is suprisingly airy and floppy. The flames mulberry silk yarn is uneven in thickness with thick and thin areas along the whole length of the yarn due to the unique spinning technique, which makes the yarn airy and butterfly soft. Even with this high weight I can recommend this wrap for all experience levels.

Tripoly Zora
* this wrap has a weaving flaw which does not affect the safety of the wrap
This wrap is made from combed Egyptian cotton and a luxury blend of natural bamboo and tussah silk. The new wrap feels solid and dense in hand. But the first wash will make it floppy, moldable and cushy wrap, with just enough bounce to stay gentle for your shoulders. The wraps requires a moderate breaking in period. The natural bamboo and tussah silk blended yarn makes the wrap soft enough for newborns, but perfectly strong and supportive for toddlers.
The natural bamboo / tussah silk yarn is not even, with nubs and slubs, which is totally normal for this type of yarn. Your wrap might contain small nubs, slubs, pieces of uneven yarn. I would recommend this wrap to those, who can appreciate the natural beauty of this yarn.
More information about natural bamboo (bamboo linen)
There are two ways of processing the bamboo plant to create yarn. The first is a mechanical process, creating what is informally called bamboo linen, and the second, more popular approach, is the chemical process used for producing rayon or viscose fabric.
Mechanically produced bamboo - natural bamboo (bamboo linen)
Mechanically produced bamboo yarn requires no chemicals, pesticides or fungicides. Using a process similar to the one that produces linen from flax, bamboo fibers are raked and combed into long strands. The fibers are then drawn out and spun into a yarn that is silky and smooth to the touch.
There is very little natural bamboo on the market and the yarn is hard to find, becuse the production process is more labor intensive and costly.
Chemically processed bamboo
The method for producing bamboo viscose yarn requires a series of steps similar to those used for other rayon yarns. The process uses chemical solvents to dissolve the bamboo cellulose into a viscose solution.
Hydrogen peroxide is added as a stabilizer and the solution is forced through spinnerets into a hardening bath which causes thin streams of viscose bamboo solution to harden into bamboo cellulose fiber threads.
The hardening bath is usually a solution of water and methanol, ethanol or a similar alcohol. The regenerated bamboo fiber threads can then be spun into bamboo yarn for weaving into fabric.

Silk is another word for elegance and silk is prized for its versatility and wearebility. Silk absorbs moisture, which makes it cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Silk is one of the oldest textile fibers known and used by men. It has been used and admired in China since the 27th century BC. Silk is mentioned by Aristotle and became a valuable fiber both in Greece and Rome. During the Roman Empire silk was even sold for its weight in gold.

Angel Wing Protection
This is a medium-weight wrap. Suitable for all experience levels, except if you are the very first time wrapper. The wrap has a bit of cardboard feel from the bag, but after the first washing cylce it will become soft, moldable and easy to handle. Ironing on the low temperature will help to get rid of the light prickly feel.
The wrap is suitable for newborns and toddlers. The baby camel yarn in combination with the Angel Wing pattern makes this wrap amazingly supportive, but gentle for your shoulders.
The yarn comes from the warm undercoat from the two-humped Bactrian baby camel. This type of camel lives mainly in the inner Mongolia, Kazakhstan, and Afghanistan. They are tended by nomadic herders. In the winter the Bactrian camels grow a thick warm coat to protect themselves from the cold. In spring they naturally shed their soft under hair which is collected by the herders.
The baby camel hair has a structire similar to cashmere. It makes a lightweight, super soft yarn with thermal regulation.

Alpacas have been bred in South America for thousands of years. Vicugnas were first domesticated and bred into alpacas by the ancient tribes of the Andean highlands of Peru, Argentina, Chile and Bolivia. Two thousand-year-old Paracas textiles are thought to include alpaca fiber. Also known as “The Fiber of the Gods”, Alpaca was used to make clothing for royalty (wikipepdia).
The best alaca yarn is known as royal baby alpaca. This yarn rivals cashmere for softness and silk for smooth feeling and subtle sheen. The royal baby alpaca is lighter than wool and is much warmer. It has kept the people of the Andean highlands warm for thousands of years. This yarn is also stronger than wool and is naturally water resistant. Items made from royal baby alpaca will last for years with minimum care. The royal baby alpaca yarn is made from the finest, carefully selected fibers. It is free from the coars fibers which give the prickly sensation and can be worn against bare skin.
